Your Lucid account settings page is where you can review and make changes to your account information, set preferences for notifications and documents, view license information, and review authorized apps and integrations. Read this article to learn how to navigate your account settings and find instructions to make updates.
Account settings are unique to each user's account. If you are an admin on a Team or Enterprise account, you can also access the admin panel for account-wide settings. For more information, check out our Welcome to the Lucid admin panel article.
Access account settings
- Log in to your Lucid account.
- Select your profile image or initials in the upper-right corner.
- Click Account Settings.
Tip: Need to update your profile image? You can follow the steps to add or change your profile image in our article. You can also update your photo from your account settings page by selecting your profile image or initials in the upper-left corner.
Overview page
When you access your account settings, you start on the Overview page. To make changes, select the link to see more in the bottom right corner of the relevant tile.
Use the Overview page to review:
- User information. See and update your name, email, password, and preferred language.
- Notification preferences. Adjust notifications by product and customize them so you're only notified when an action you want to know about occurs.
- Current license and plan information. See and update your plan type. If you're on a Team or Enterprise account, this is where you can find your account owner and admins.
- Apps and integrations. See what apps and integrations have access to your Lucid account. A checkmark means the integration has been set up on your account and an "X" means it has not.
- Support tickets. Scroll to the bottom of the overview page to view all your requests for support. If you are on a Team or Enterprise account, this is also where you can view all Support PINs.

User information
On the User Settings page, you can:
- Update the first and last name associated with your account.

Select your preferred pronouns, or input custom pronouns.
- Your selection affects how Lucid refers to you throughout our products.

Select your role and role description (whether you are an in an individual contributor, people manager, or leadership role).
- Your selection helps Lucid recommend relevant content.
- Set your username and email address.
- Update your language preference.
- Change your password.
- Join a Lucid account.
- Determine which data residency region your account is on.
Change your password
- In your account settings, select User Settings from the menu to the left.
- Scroll to the “Change Password” section.
- Type your new password twice, and your current password to verify.
- Select Save changes in the upper-right corner.
If you don't know your password, you can set a new password by selecting Forgot your password? on the Lucid log in page. For more detailed steps to change or Reset your Lucid password, check out our article.
Note: If you are using Google SSO (or another single sign-on method), you will first have to set a password, which you can do by scrolling down and clicking "Forgot your password?" A link will be sent to the email address associated with your account with instructions.
Document settings
The Document Settings tab of your account settings is where you can set preferences for all Lucidchart documents and Lucidspark boards.
From this page, you can:
Notifications
Enable or disable notifications for document comments, document changes, and document/folder shares. You can also choose if you want to receive desktop notifications from Google Chrome.
These settings refer to the notifications posted to your activity feed and are found under the bell icon on your Documents page. Set communication preferences
Check the box(es) next to the product(s) you want to receive occasional updates from.
Set Slack notification preferences
If you have the Slack integration set up for your account, you can select when you receive Slack notifications for document comments, document access requests, and document/folder shares.
Note: If you use both Lucidchart and Lucidspark, you can opt to select these notifications for neither, one, or both of the products.
Plans and billing
The Plans & Billing page allows you to understand and manage your subscription(s) in one place. On this page, you can:
- View and manage current plan details.
- Review license information, purchase more licenses, and set auto-upgrade preferences.
- View and update your billing information including payment details and billing cycle.
- Cancel your plan.
- Preview or download invoices for past payments you’ve made for your plans.
Please note:
- If you do not currently have a paid subscription for one of the Lucid products, you will see options to upgrade to premium tiers if you select a product specific tab at the top of the page.
- If you are not the account owner or a billing admin, you will not be able to see this tab.
Apps and integrations
Use the Apps & Integrations page to view and manage the critical integrations that have access to your Lucid account. Choose either the Lucidchart or Lucidspark tab at the top of the page to view those integrations for a Lucid product.

Delete your Lucid account
If you are a user on a free or Individual account, navigate to our Delete your account and personal data from Lucid Software article for steps to delete your account. If you are a user on a Team or Enterprise account, you are not able to delete your own account and will need to reach out to your account’s admin.
