Customize your workspace preferences by adjusting your default options within the Lucidchart tab of your Document Settings. This section allows you to preconfigure properties like default zoom and page units to help streamline your diagramming workflow.

Customize your default Lucidchart preferences
Within the Document Settings page of your Lucid account settings, you can set customization options that only apply to your Lucidchart documents. With these preferences, you can:
- Set the default zoom
- Adjust the default line binding
- Set the default page units (inches vs. centimeters)
- Determine what happens after drawing lines
- Set the default page size and format
- Toggle grid lines
- Enable page tiling
- Enable IconFinder search
- Enable tips
To set these preferences:
- Click your profile image or initials in the upper-right corner.
- Select Account Settings.
- Click Document Settings from the panel to the left.
- Select the Lucidchart tab at the top of the document settings section.
- Set your preferences and click Save changes.
