The header
At the top of your Lucid account, there are icons that will link you to tools and additional resources.
Search
Use the search bar to do a simple search of your documents or folders by keyword. The search will return any results that match a keyword in the title, associated tags, or status.
To search your documents and folders with additional criteria, select the advanced search icon next to the search bar and choose from the following options:
- Location: With the location filter, you can narrow down your search to a particular folder location. Select “everywhere” to search all the documents you have access to; select “my documents” or “shared with me” to narrow your search based on document ownership, and select “current folder” to limit your search to the folder that is currently open in your Documents page.
- Type: With the type filter, you can specify the file type (folder or document) that you are searching for.
- Attributes: If you are on an Enterprise account, you have a list of search options based on the team folder and document attributes configured by your account admin. Fill out any of these categories to filter your search based on specific criteria. Regardless of your account type, you can search for a document or folder based on the custom tags that you or another user have attached to it.
Tip: Search using a specific phrase in double quotes to locate your document.
To search with Lucid AI, select the Lucid AI icon to open the panel and start searching. For queries longer than three words, Lucid AI will automatically generate an answer at the top of your results page.
