Change account owner
The simplest way to change account ownership is for the current account owner to reassign the role to another user on the account before leaving the company or otherwise losing access to the Lucid account.
If you are the current account owner, follow these steps to assign the role to another user on your account:
- Open your Lucid account.
- Select Admin from the left-side panel.
- Click the Users tab from the menu to the left.
- Select a user by checking the box on the far left-hand side of the user’s row.
-
Click
in the upper right-hand corner.
-
Alternatively, select
the three-dot actions menu the far right-hand side of a user’s row.
-
Alternatively, select
- Select Make account owner.
- Check the box next to "I understand I will no longer have access to payment history or subscription level settings" and "I understand I will be demoted from account admin".
- Click Promote to owner.
Note: If you're not currently assigned the account owner role, reach out to the current account owner to request that they make this change. If they are no longer at your company and their account is inaccessible, contact support. You will need to verify your ownership of the account as outlined by our Terms of Service.
