Overview of the Microsoft integrations for Lucid

Lucid’s Microsoft integrations provide powerful features to combine the value of Lucid and Microsoft for collaboration, diagramming, and more. This article walks you through each of Lucid’s integrations with Microsoft, including links to each integration’s resources.

Plan availability: Free, Individual, Team, and Enterprise.
  • Not available on FedRAMP accounts.
  • While most Microsoft integrations are available to all account types, there are a few exceptions, which are noted in the applicable sections of this article.

Lucid add-ins

With Lucid add-ins, you can attach Lucid documents to Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets for easier display without having to navigate to Lucid. For instructions, refer to our Lucid add-ins for Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel article.

Microsoft Graph and Copilot integration

Integrate Lucid with Microsoft Graph and Copilot to complete the following actions:

  • See, access, and search Lucid documents from Microsoft 365 products
  • Search keywords from the title or content of a Lucid document to access it from Copilot

Microsoft Teams integration

Integrate Lucid with Microsoft Teams to access the following features:

  • Add a Lucid document to a Team channel
  • Access a Lucid document as a single user
  • Enable link unfurling
  • Customize notifications from Lucid
  • Share Lucid documents via Microsoft Team messages

SharePoint integration

With the SharePoint integration, Team and Enterprise accounts can embed Lucid documents on SharePoint pages. For set up and customization instructions, refer to our Integrate SharePoint with Lucid article.

Office 365 deployment and SSO

If you’re an admin on a Team and Enterprise account, you can centrally deploy the Lucidchart add-ins for Microsoft Office and enable O365 single sign-on (SSO). For instructions, check out our Centralized Office 365 deployment and SSO article.

Microsoft Entra ID SAML and SCIMenterprise-tag.png

As an admin on an Enterprise account, you can integrate Lucid with Microsoft Entra ID to enable users to authenticate using SAML single-sign on and leverage SCIM to provision users in your identity provider (IdP).
