Use Lucid’s suite of visual applications in the classroom to engage students, foster creativity, and encourage collaboration. Read this article to learn more about the Lucid for Education plan, including recommended integrations and additional resources.

Lucid for Education basics

Lucid for Education can be used by all students, from kindergarten through post-secondary education. Students under 13 can use Lucid as directed by their schools. 

Lucid cares deeply about protecting students and their data. To learn more about Lucid’s robust student data privacy protections, see the Lucid for Education privacy policy and our privacy page.

Lucid is fully GDPR (general data protection regulation) compliant. You can read more about Lucid’s GDPR compliance on our webpage.

The Lucid Suite is translated into 11 languages. Our primary languages are Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, German, French, and Japanese. Parts of the Lucid website are translated into Polish, Korean, Italian, Russian, and Swedish.

Lucid for Education plans

K-12

K-12 teachers and students receive a free Lucid for Education upgrade. To sign up, create a free Lucid account using your school email address. When asked to select the role that best fits you, select Student or Educator

K-12 schools and districts are eligible to receive a complimentary, centrally-managed account. Complete this interest form and our Lucid for Education team will email you to complete the account set up process.

Higher education

Higher Education professors, instructors, and students can receive a free Lucid for Education upgrade. To sign up, create a free Lucid account using your school email address. When asked to select the role that best fits you, select Student or Educator

Higher Education administrators and institutions can learn about special educational discounts by speaking with our Education consultant.

How much does a Lucid for Education plan cost?

A Lucid for Education plan is free for K-12 teachers and students as well as Higher Education professors, instructors, and students. 

Who can sign up for a free Lucid for Education plan?

Educators and students with a Lucid account and a school-issued email address qualify for a free Lucid educational plan. Students under 13 can use Lucid as directed by their schools.
