Step one: Add your teams
Adding teams to an accelerator enables an accelerator manager to quickly distribute the right blueprints, to the right teams. From the team organizer feature, you’ll be able to create a new team, add an existing team or create multiple teams with a CSV import.
Create a new team
- Click Add teams.
- Select + Create team.
- Type a unique name for the team under “Name this team”.
- Add members to the team by typing their name, email address, or a Slack channel that contains users you want to add.
- Determine the team type.
- Click Create team.
Add an existing team
- Click Add teams.
- Select Add existing teams.
- Search for specific team names or browse the list.
- Only open or closed teams will appear in the list. Hidden teams do not appear.
- Check the box next to the teams you want to add to the accelerator.
- Click Add.
Create multiple teams with a CSV
If you have a CSV that outlines teams and team members in your organization, you can import it to create multiple teams at once.
- Click Add teams.
- Select Import CSV.
- Choose a CSV from your device to upload.
- The CSV file must include a column for employee emails and what team they belong to.
- Click Next.
- Use the dropdown menus to indicate which columns on the CSV match “Employee email” and “Teams”.
- Click Next.
- Determine the team type. The selection you make applies to all teams being imported.
- Click Create # teams.
- The button will indicate the number of new teams being created.
Repeat these steps to import new teams when changes are made in your organization. Duplicate teams won’t be created, but team members will be added according to the updated CSV.
