The team organizer provides accelerator managers with a centralized way to set up and manage teams across both the Cloud Accelerators. Easily add new or existing teams—manually or in bulk using a CSV import—and use team tags to organize teams and publish specialized blueprints to various team types.
The team organizer is available for accounts with the Cloud Accelerator. To purchase the accelerators for your Enterprise account, contact sales. This is also available for purchase for accounts on the FedRAMP environment.
Access the team organizer
From the team organizer page, accelerator managers can add teams to the accelerator manually or through CSV import. You can also edit teams and add team tags from this page.
To access the team organizer, follow these steps:
- Open the workspace dropdown from the left-hand side of the Lucid Home Page.
- Click Cloud.
- Select Team organizer from the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the page.
Add a team to an accelerator
You can’t do team planning without your teams. From the team organizer, add existing teams from your Lucid account to any Lucid Accelerator or you can create new teams (manually or through CSV import). Check out the sections below for instructions on each.
Create a new team
To create a new team within an accelerator, follow these steps from the team organizer page:
- Click the arrow icon to the right of the "Add teams" button from the top-right corner of the page.
- Select + Create team.
- Type a unique name for the team under “Name this team”.
- Add members to the team by typing their name, email address, or a Slack channel that contains users you want to add.
- Determine the team type.
- Click Create team.
Add an existing team
If you have previously set up teams in your Lucid account, you can add those existing teams to an accelerator by following these steps from the team organizer page:
- Click Add teams from the top-right corner of the page.
- Search for specific team names or browse the list.
- Only open or closed teams will appear in the list. Hidden teams do not appear.
- Check the box to the left of the teams you want to add to the accelerator.
- Click Add.
Create multiple teams with a CSV
If you have a CSV that outlines teams and team members in your organization, you can import it to create multiple teams at once.
To bulk import teams with a CSV, follow these steps from the team organizer page:
- Click the arrow icon to the right of the "Add teams" button from the top-right corner of the page.
- Select Import teams.
- Choose a CSV from your device to upload.
- The CSV file must include a column for employee emails and a column for what team they belong to.
- Click Next.
- Use the dropdown menus to indicate which columns on the CSV match “Employee email” and “Teams”.
- If your CSV file contains duplicate team names, a warning will appear at the top of this panel. Click Edit to review and determine how you want to resolve the duplicates.
- Click Next.
- Determine the team type. The selection you make applies to all teams being imported.
- Click Next.
- Click Create # teams.
- The button will indicate the number of new teams being created.
Note: You can add a comma or semicolon to a team's name by adding a backslash before the punctuation mark in the CSV data. For example, a team named "Team 4 \, Engineering" in the CSV will appear as "Team 4, Engineering" when imported into the team organizer. Without the backslash, each word or phrase separated by a comma or semicolon will import as a separate team name.
Manage teams from the team organizer
After teams have been added, accelerator managers can use the team organizer to update team settings, manage team members, or remove teams from the accelerator. Check out the sections below for more information.

FAQ
How are team tags different from groups on my Lucid account?
Team tags are used within Lucid’s Cloud Accelerators to organize teams by function, department, or any custom category. They can help accelerator managers target specific teams when publishing relevant blueprints.
Groups are managed from the Lucid admin panel and are used for account-wide user management such as licensing, permissions, and other settings across your entire Lucid account.
