Want to take a break from Lucid Software? You can cancel your subscription at any time and the change will be made at the end of your current billing cycle.
Access the Plans & Billing page
To access your Plans & Billing page, follow these steps:
- Log into your Lucid account.
- Click your profile icon or initials in the top-right corner.
- Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Click Plans & Billing from the navigation menu on the left.
Note: If you do not see the Plans & Billing tab in the left-hand menu, it likely means you are on a Team or Enterprise account and do not have account owner or billing admin permissions. Contact the account owner of your account or see this Lucid admin panel: Administrator roles article for more information.
Cancel your Lucid plan
We’re sad to see you go! Cancellation differs depending on your plan type. Read the applicable section below for instructions. On Team and Enterprise accounts, only the account owner or billing admins can cancel the subscription.
After canceling a trial, your account is automatically downgraded to a limited, free plan. After canceling a paid subscription, your subscription will not renew and your plan will automatically downgrade to a limited, free plan at the end of your paid subscription period. Your documents will remain in your account and you can still view them. However, you will only have the features available on a free plan, and cannot edit documents with full functionality. You can re-subscribe at any time to continue editing all of your documents by following the method described in our Upgrade your Lucid account article.
Cancelling your paid account does not permanently delete your information and Content from our systems. Upon cancellation of a Team or Enterprise account, depending on the Subscription Service, Users may be automatically downgraded to free accounts. The ownership of such free account(s) will transfer to the applicable User(s), and any Content therein will remain in the free account(s) until the accounts are permanently closed by the User or otherwise at Lucid’s reasonable discretion. To permanently delete your account, personal information, and documents from our system, you can do so after you cancel your subscription(s). See the Delete your account and personal data from Lucid Software article for information about what happens when you close your account.
Note: There is a no-refund policy for all cancellations.
