Containers in Lucidspark allow you to organize your ideas and identify themes, so you can move forward with the best ones and align on next steps. This article explains how to access and use containers.

Plan availability: Free, Individual, Team, and Enterprise.

Add a Container

To add a container to the canvas:

  1. Click organizers-icon-from-lucidspark-primary-toolbar.png the Organizers icon from the Primary Toolbar on the left-side of the canvas.
  2. Select Container.
  3. Click and drag your cursor on the canvas to add a Container.

Style and format a Container

Title your container by double-clicking on the header and typing. Then use the text tools in the Context Toolbar to change the font and style, text size and color, and alignment.

Select the container you want to style by clicking on its header, then choose a border color and fill color from the Context Toolbar.

To resize your container, select it and then click and drag one of the white circles on the corner of the container or adjust its height and width.

Add content to a Container

Containers can hold sticky notes, shapes, text boxes, and drawings. To add these objects to a container, drag and drop an existing object into the container.

Once the objects are in the container, the container will magnetize the objects so that if the container is moved, the objects will move along with it.

To remove an object from the container, click to select the individual object and drag it out of the container onto the canvas.

Tip: Enable grid layout to organize content into an adjustable grid pattern and automatically expand Container space as content is added. Check out our article to learn more about how to Use grid layout to organize content in Lucid.

Hide content in a Container

If you wish to hide the content of your container, you can select the eye icon from the Context Toolbar.
