Use Frames in Lucidspark to draw attention to specific pieces of content on a board, and create Paths to guide collaborators through each Frame. Read this article to learn how to create, customize, share, and add Paths to Frames in Lucidspark.

Add a Frame
To add a Frame to the canvas, follow these steps:

Select
the Container icon from the Primary Toolbar.
- Select Frame.
- Click anywhere on the canvas to add the Frame.
Note: You can draw a Frame around existing shapes, images, and other content on a board.
To add a Frame or Container around an existing Frame:
- Select a Frame.
- Click
the Wrap content icon from the Context Toolbar.

From the menu, select Frame or Container.
- If the content in a Frame does not appear after adding a container around it, right-click the container, select Arrange, and Send to back.
Style and format a Frame
Change the title of a Frame
After adding a new Frame to a board, you can customize and adjust the size of its title.
To change the title:
- Double-click the Frame’s header.
- Type a new title.
- Press “Enter” on your keyboard.
To adjust the size of the title relative to the Frame:
- Double-click the Frame title.
- Click the Title size icon in the Context Toolbar.
- Select a size.
Add color to and resize Frames
To change the line and fill color of a Frame:
- Click a Frame you want to add a new color to.
- Select the fill color or line color icon from the Frame’s Context Toolbar.
- In the window that appears, select a color from the options.
- You can set a custom color by selecting the plus icon.
To adjust the size of a Frame:
- Select the Frame you want to resize.
- Click and drag a corner of the Frame.
- Set an aspect ratio using the dropdown in the context menu that appears when the Frame is selected.
- Double-click any corner of a Frame to automatically resize it to fit the contents inside.
Tip: Need space for more shapes? Press "X" on your keyboard and drag your cursor to expand a Frame.
Add objects to a Frame
Frames can hold sticky notes, shapes, text boxes, drawings, and more Frames.
To add objects to a Frame:
- Add an object to the board.
- Drag and drop the object into the Frame.
- You can also drag and drop an object from the Primary Toolbar directly into a Frame.
Once objects are added to a Frame, they become magnetized. This means when the Frame is moved, its objects move along with it.

Hide objects in a Frame
To hide the content of a Frame:
- Select a Frame.
- Click
the eye icon from the Context Toolbar.
No one will be able to see the content of the Frame until you unhide the content. To unhide content, select the Frame and click the eye icon again.
Add an external link to a Frame
To add an external link to a Frame:
- Select the Frame.
- Click
the link icon from the Context Toolbar.
- Type in or paste an external link.
- Click Apply.
Add comments to Frames
To add comments to a Frame:
- Select the Frame.
- Click the three-dot icon in the Context Toolbar.
- Select Add Comment from the menu that appears.

Type your comment.
- Click Comment.
A comment icon will appear at the top-center of the Frame to indicate that the comment has been added.
