You can toggle the visibility of content by expanding or collapsing Frames and Containers. When collapsed, the layout shrinks into a compact shape to save space on your board. You can expand these elements at any time to view or edit the full content, making it easier to navigate large-scale projects without losing details.

Collapse and expand content
To collapse content, follow these steps:
- Select the border of a Frame or Container on the canvas.
- Locate the Collapse icon:
- In Lucidchart, click
the Collapse icon from the “Shape Options” section of the Contextual Panel that opens on the right side of the canvas.
- In Lucidspark, select
the Collapse icon from the context menu that appears.
- In Lucidchart, click
To expand collapsed content, repeat the steps above, selectingthe Expand icon instead.

Content can be collapsed and expanded when contained in the following containers:
Lucidchart
- Rectangle containers
- Rounded rectangle containers
- Circle containers
- Pill containers
