Visualize links between cards
You can import and view existing links between Jira issues or Azure DevOps work items in Lucid. Additionally, you can create new dependencies that sync back to Jira or Azure DevOps by drawing lines between cards or converting existing lines to dependencies.
Import or create cards
To start, you need to create or import Jira or Azure DevOps Cards. The Lucid Cards integrations with Jira and Azure DevOps Cloud support dependency mapping. To import these types of cards, follow the steps in our Integrate Lucid Cards with Jira or Integrate Lucid Cards with Azure DevOps Cloud help center articles.
After Jira or Azure DevOps Cards are added to the canvas, you can see any linked issues or linked work items via an icon at the bottom of the card.
Import dependencies
You can use existing Jira or Azure DevOps Cards on your canvas to import their dependencies as cards. To do so:
- Select the “linked issue” or “linked work item” icon on a Jira or Azure DevOps card.
- Click Import next to the linked issue(s) or linked work item(s) you want to import.
Draw dependency lines
To draw a dependency line between Lucid Cards, follow these steps:
- Open a Lucidspark board.
- Click or drag a line from one Jira card or Azure DevOps card to another.
- Select one of the issue link types or work item link types in the pop-up window. These link types are populated from Jira or Azure DevOps.
- If you don’t select one, it defaults to a basic line rather than a dependency line.
- If you don’t select one, it defaults to a basic line rather than a dependency line.
