Access the timer
Open the timer by selecting the Timer icon from the Collaboration Tools in the top-right corner of the workspace.
Use the timer
Set a time limit by clicking the buttons to add thirty seconds, one minute, or five minutes. You can also click the time limit and manually type the desired amount of time.
Once a time limit is set, click Start to begin the countdown. A progress bar showing the time remaining will appear next to the Collaboration Tools at the top-right corner of the board. You can pause the countdown by clicking the time remaining and clicking the pause icon. To start it again, click
the play icon. To stop the timer countdown, click Stop.
To add more time while the timer is still running, use the + buttons to quickly extend the remaining time by thirty seconds, one minute, or five minutes.
Note: Once a timer is started, it will be visible to all active collaborators on the board.
Adjust sound settings
Play music during the timer
To play music while the timer is running, click the speaker dropdown, and select a genre of music from the options under "Collaborator music". When you select music, it will play for all active collaborators on the board.
Mute timer sound on your device
An audible sound will play in the final three seconds and when the timer has completed the countdown. To mute the alert (and timer music if it is playing), click the speaker icon in the Timer window and click Off under “My sound”.
Note: Timer sound is not currently available in Safari or the Lucidspark App.
