Frequently asked questions
What features are available on my Lucidchart or Lucidspark plan?
Lucid offers Free, Individual, Team, and Enterprise plans. Depending on your plan, you may have licenses for Lucidchart (to build intelligent diagrams), Lucidspark (to collaborate in a virtual whiteboard), or the Lucid Suite (with access to both).

How do I import documents into Lucid from another tool?
Start an import from your Documents page by selecting + New and Import documents.
In Lucidchart, you can import:
- Microsoft Visio, Gliffy, Draw.io, and OmniGraffle files.
- Data from Google Sheets, Excel, or CSV.
In Lucidspark, you can import:
- Miro, MURAL, and FigJam boards.

For full instructions, read our Import files into Lucidchart or Import files into Lucidspark articles.
How do I change the account owner of my Lucid account?
Only the current account owner can transfer ownership of a Lucid account to another user. If you’re currently assigned the account owner role, access the Lucid admin panel, select the user you want to transfer the role to, and finalize the change through the Actions menu.
For full instructions, or to see what to do if the current owner is unavailable, read our Change the account owner article.
I’m experiencing performance issues in a Lucid document. How do I fix it?
To resolve most performance issues, try the following:
- Test in incognito: Open your document in a private window to disable extensions and clear your cache.
- Check browser version: Ensure you’re running the latest version.
- Check internet connection: Refresh the page, disable your VPN, and ensure your firewall is configured to allow Lucid domains.
For full instructions, or to troubleshoot a more specific issue, read our Basic troubleshooting article.
