Import and export within Lucidchart

Import a Lucidspark board

To insert the contents of a Lucidspark board into your Lucidchart document, follow these steps:

In a Lucidchart document, open the More menu from the top-left of the canvas.
Hover your cursor over “Insert”.
Select Import Page.
Choose the board you want to import.
Click Select.

Import a page from another Lucidchart document

To insert the contents of a page from one Lucidchart document into another, follow these steps:

In a Lucidchart document, open the More menu from the top-left of the canvas.
Hover your cursor over “Insert”.
Select Import Page.
Choose the document you want to import.
- If the document contains multiple pages, use the arrows in the preview window to navigate to the page you want to import.
Click Select.

Export to a Lucidspark board

While working in Lucidchart, you can export the contents of your diagram to a Lucidspark board by following these steps:

Open the More menu from the top-left of the canvas.
Hover your cursor over Export.
Click Lucidspark.

Note: If you are exporting a multi-page Lucidchart document, all pages will be exported. The contents of each page will be treated as a separate grouping of objects.

Import and export within Lucidspark

Import a Lucidchart document

While working in Lucidspark, you can import content from a Lucidchart document by following these steps:

In a Lucidspark board, clickthe More menu in Board Controls.
Hover over Insert.
Click Lucidchart document.
Choose the document you want to import.
Click Select.

Note: If you are importing a multi-page Lucidchart document, all pages will be imported by default. The contents of each page will be treated as a separate grouping of objects. To import a single page, click the arrows on either side of the document preview to toggle through the pages, then select the checkbox next to “Only insert current page”.

Export to a Lucidchart document

While working in Lucidspark, you can export the contents of your board to a Lucidchart document by following these steps:

In a Lucidspark board, clickthe More menu in Board Controls.
Hover over Export.
Click Lucidchart.

Export from Lucidscale

Export to Lucidchart as shapes

To export the contents of a Lucidscale document to Lucidchart as shapes:

In a Lucidscale document, clickthe Document options icon from the top-left menu.
Hover your cursor over Export Snapshot.
Click Lucidchart Shapes.

Export to Lucidspark as shapes

To export the contents of a Lucidscale document to Lucidspark as shapes:

In a Lucidscale document, clickthe Document options icon from the top-left menu.
Hover your cursor over Export Snapshot.
Click Lucidspark Shapes.
