Embed content from Figma, Loom and others into item descriptions and comments.
While airfocus is the home for product managers, some teams need to use complementary tools like Figma to deliver their work. It is now possible to embed certain types of external content into item descriptions and comments, allowing you to access this directly within airfocus.
Adding an embed
There are two ways that you can embed content into the text editor:
Slash command
Type the slash command "/embed" and then paste a link to a tool that we support. Voila! This will now turn into an embed. We have dedicated slash commands for each embeddable tool as well.
Paste
You can also paste the link to the content you’d like to embed on a new line. Then, click the Turn into embed button. This will change the inline link into an embed.

Do these steps for each tool to be able to embed their content.
Figma
- Open the Figma file/prototype that you would like to embed.
- If you’d only like to embed a frame, select the frame.
- Click the share button in the toolbar.
- Check/update Link Sharing Permissions to determine who can view and interact with the embed.
- Click Copy link.
- Navigate back to airfocus and add an embed.
Loom
- Open the Loom video you want to embed.
- Click the share button in the toolbar.
- Update Video privacy settings to determine who can view the video.
- Click the Copy link button in the lower right-hand corner of the share window.
- Navigate back to airfocus and add an embed.
Youtube
- Open the YouTube video you want to embed.
- Make sure the video visibility is set to Public.
- Click the Share button, located below the video.
- Select the Copy button, next to the video URL.
- Navigate back to airfocus and add an embed.
Lucidchart and Lucidspark
- Open the Lucidchart or Lucidspark that you would like to embed.
- Click the Share button in the top right of the toolbar.
- Ensure the "Shareable link" toggle is toggled on.
- Click Copy link.
- Navigate back to airfocus and add an embed.

Removing an embed
If you have an embed and you’d like to remove it, you can do the following:
Turn into link
If you’d like to turn the embed into a link instead, click on the left handlebar, which will open a menu with the option to turn the embed into a link.
Delete
You can also delete an embed by clicking on the left handlebar, which will open a menu with the delete button.
