If you’re using one of Lucidchart or Lucidspark’s integrations or add-ons, you may receive an error message about cookies not being enabled.

When you have third-party cookies disabled on your web browser, Lucidchart and Lucidspark applications cannot work properly. If you’re trying to sign in via Google, the sign in will fail and prompt you with error messaging to enable third-party cookies. If you’re using a Lucidchart plugin with Confluence, for example, you will not be able to sign in to the integration.

You can enable third-party cookies in your browser settings. Depending on what browser you are using, follow the steps in one of the sections below.

Google Chrome

Click the "More" dot menu in the top-right corner.
Click Settings.
Under "Privacy and Security," click Cookies and other site data.
Make sure "Block third-party cookies" is disabled.

Firefox

Click the "Tools" menu.
Click Options.
Select Privacy Settings.
Check the option to "Accept cookies from sites".

Microsoft Edge

Click More Actions in the toolbar.
Click Settings.
Search for "View advanced settings" and select it.
Under the "Cookies" section, select "Don't block cookies (default)." Make sure that "Block only third-party cookies" is not selected.

Safari

Go to the Safari drop-down menu.
Click Preferences.
Select Privacy from the menu across the top.
Under “Cookies and website data,” uncheck the box next to “Block all cookies”.

Tip: If you’re having trouble with an integration in Lucidchart or Lucidspark while using Safari, follow steps 1–3 above, uncheck the box next to “Prevent cross-site tracking,” and try again.
