The Lucid Data Hub is a centralized location where you can host and manage your uploaded data. Use the data hub to get quick access to a Lucidchart document where a file is linked, or use it to manage your cloud infrastructure data.
Access the data hub
Access the data hub from the navigation menu at the bottom-left of the Lucid Home Page. The data hub appears only after you have uploaded and linked data to a document for the first time or if you have purchased the Cloud Accelerator add-on.
The dropdown options available when you select Data hub from the left-hand menu of the Lucid Home Page differs depending on which Lucid products you use. The screenshot below shows all options.
File access for Lucidchart
All CSV, Google Sheet, and Excel files linked in Lucidchart documents are visible in the data hub.
Select a file from the data hub to see the following information:
- Source file: For CSV or Excel files, you will see just the name of the file. For Google Sheet files, you will be able to click to open the file directly.
- File type: States whether it is a CSV, Excel, or Google Sheets file.
- Imported date: Displays the date and time the file was imported into your Lucidchart document.
- Modified date: States the date and time the file was last modified.
- Linked documents: Shows which Lucidchart documents the data is linked to and allows you to click through to open the document.
- Data source ID: States the data source ID number, which is helpful if you are using an API.
